Voter Information
You may order your mail-in ballot now. They begin to go out in September.
Voter registration deadline is Monday, October 5th. Even if you've never missed an election, we encourage everyone to check your voting status in your Indiana voter portal prior to each election.
In-person early voting begins Tuesday, October 6th.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026.
MEET YOUR 2026 DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES
STATEWIDE AND CONGRESSIONAL OFFICES
The following candidates will be on all DeKalb County ballots.
STATE HOUSE OFFICES
Senate district 14 is all of DeKalb County, except for the far west townships of Fairfield, Richland, Keyser, and Butler.
State Representative district 52 is all of DeKalb County.
LOCAL OFFICES
County Council District 2 includes the townships of Fairfield, Smithfield, Franklin, Troy and portions of Union.
County Council District 3 includes the townships of Richland, Keyser, and Butler.
Town Council for Hamilton 1 includes Franklin Township.

Each candidate is running for their respective township board. Each board has three members, giving you the opportunity to vote for as many as three board members in your specific township.
A "*" indicates the candidate is the projected winner with no opponent.
